Ridge Top Construction Firm is based in Costa Rica and was established in 2007 by Leif Bernhardt. Leif moved to Costa Rica from the USA at a young age and was introduced to construction and development in his late teens. When he established Ridge Top he desired to create a construction and development company which focused on the integration of modern construction with the natural beauty of Costa Rica. Ridge Top Construction takes pride in honoring the natural topography of the land when designing a residence. Additionally Ridge Top focuses on utilizing local tradesmen, with the goal of optimizing their skill set and introducing them to evolving opportunities, thus promoting a spirit of independent entrepreneurship.
To date Ridge Top Construction has completed over 65 luxury homes in the Central to Southern Pacific Zone of Costa Rica, encompassing a variety of styles of construction from colonial to modern topical. In 2011 Ridge Top developed a unique level of expertise when they began integrating Indonesian design aspects within their modern home construction projects, as well as building authentic Balinese kit homes imported from overseas. Over the years, Ridge Top has risen to become one of the most reputable luxury construction companies in the South Pacific region.
The team behind Ridge Top also includes Leif’s wife, interior designer Karol Acuña, and renowned architect Martin Wells with MWMM Architecture, as well as an in house draftsman and structural engineer. Ridge Top employs over 60 tradesmen who make up multiple highly experienced teams, who are an integral part of the construction process.
